The problem
Act + Acre had clinical results and a strong brand story. The old store treated a trichologist-tested haircare line like a flat catalog, so the two things that sell it best, proof and credibility, were buried.
What we found
Shoppers arrive with a problem, like thinning, an itchy scalp or oily roots, not with a product name. The catalog asked them to work out the right routine themselves, and product pages answered the questions that stall a purchase too late.
The decisions
Start with the shopper’s concern. The homepage leads with a quiz that routes each concern to a matched system: cleanse, treat and serum sold together.
Systems over single products. Bundling the routine turns three decisions into one and lifts order value at the same time.
Proof before price. Product pages show before and after results and trichologist testing early, then subscription options, then folded ingredient and science detail.
Subscription as the default. Scalp routines only work if they stick, so refills are the first option shoppers see.
Templates the team runs. Every section is modular and editable, so marketing can launch new stories without a developer.
What we shipped
A rebuilt OS 2.0 store with a quiz-led homepage, science and story sections, conversion-built product pages and reusable templates.
The result
Act + Acre’s science and story now lead the experience, and shoppers reach the right system in a few taps instead of guessing across the catalog.
Where it leaves them
The team owns its storytelling. New launches use the same templates, and the quiz and systems structure gives every future test a clear place to start.
