The problem
Triple Threat Lacrosse runs paid youth clinics and sold spots through a single product page. It could not capture which child, which session or which date, hold a signed waiver, or let parents change anything after paying. Working with Ethos Brand Studio, we rebuilt registration and the backend behind it.
What we found
Parents register on a phone, often in a hurry, and a long form is a single chance with an anxious parent. Staff were building rosters by hand from orders, which made transfers and age-group mistakes painful.
The decisions
Registration as a stepper. A guided, multi-step product page: program, player, parent, waiver, then buy. The buy button only lights up when every step is done.
The waiver lives in checkout. The signed waiver is stored with the order, so there is no separate signing tool to reconcile.
One order, every record. Every answer is saved on the order, making Shopify the single source of truth.
Rosters build themselves. Orders feed program rosters automatically, with status tags and an audit trail for edits and transfers.
Nothing gets lost. Answers are captured before a failed submit can clear them, with a recovery path for parents.
What we shipped
A custom registration flow on the storefront and an automated backend that turns every order into roster data staff can run classes from.
The result
The site and backend launched together and took over 500 registrations in the first two weeks at $560 each, more than $280K in bookings.
Where it leaves them
Parents register and sign on their own, staff run classes from live rosters, and edits, refunds and credits resolve in one system.
